Role Description: Interior Designer at Livspace Yendada is a full-time, on-site role based in Visakhapatnam. The role involves meeting clients to understand requirements, developing design concepts, and creating space plans and mood boards.

The Interior

Designer will prepare detailed drawings and specifications, coordinate with vendors and contractors, and oversee on-site work to ensure design intent and quality standards are met. Day-to-day tasks include selecting materials and finishes, proposing FF&E; options, managing project timelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.



The role also requires maintaining accurate project documentation and providing regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to translate client needs into functional layouts.
- Knowledge of Architecture principles as they apply to interior projects, including circulation, structure, and building codes.
- Proficiency in creating Construction Drawings and technical documentation for execution and approvals.
- Experience with FF&E; selection, including furniture, fixtures, equipment, finishes, and accessories.
- Ability to use design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic MS Office tools.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to present concepts and negotiate design changes.
- Strong project coordination and time-management abilities, including working with contractors and vendors in office.
- Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior experience in residential interiors is preferred.
