Prepare and cook Indian dishes as per recipes and SOPs.
Handle daily mise en place and preparation.
Maintain consistent taste, quality, portion and presentation.
Make gravies
Supervise and guide Commis chefs working in the section.
Keep the section clean, organised and ready for service.
Check quality and freshness of ingredients.
Follow proper food hygiene and safety practices.
Maintain proper storage and FIFO of ingredients.
Minimise food wastage and control portion sizes.
Support the Head Chef during busy service.
Step in and help other kitchen sections when required.
Maintain discipline and smooth working of the section.
Requirements: Previous experience, valuable knowledge of Indian cooking, ability to work under pressure, and a hands-on approach.
