Job Summary

We are looking for a agile and result-oriented Academic Counsellor to guide students and working specialists in choosing the right career-oriented training programs. The candidate will be responsible for counselling leads, understanding their career goals, explaining courses, converting enquiries into admissions, and maintaining strong student relationships.

Key Responsibilities
Counsel students and working professionals regarding suitable courses and career paths.
Handle enquiries generated through calls, WhatsApp, social media, walk-ins, and other channels.
Understand students' educational background, career goals, and requirements.
Explain course curriculum, duration, fees, placement support, and career opportunities.
Follow up with prospective students and convert qualified leads into admissions.
Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets.
Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and admissions in CRM/Excel.




Coordinate with trainers and the placement team when required.
Build good relationships with students and parents.
Participate in seminars, career counselling sessions, education fairs, and promotional activities.
Provide regular reports on lead status, conversions, and pending follow-ups.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
2+ years of experience in academic counselling, education sales, training institute, or related roles preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong convincing, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
Target-oriented and self-motivated.
Good knowledge of MS Office/Excel and CRM tools.
Candidates with experience in IT/CADD training institutes will be preferred.
