As an Infra Tech Support Practitioner, a typical day involves delivering first and second level technical assistance for infrastructure, systems, and applications across both production and development settings. This role requires working closely with users and clients, either remotely or onsite, to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently. The practitioner follows established operational procedures to maintain service reliability and quality, ensuring smooth functioning of infrastructure components, operating systems, network elements, and application platforms.
Collaboration with various teams and adherence to defined processes are key aspects of daily activities. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Assist in documenting technical issues and resolutions to enhance knowledge sharing within the team.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying recurring problems and suggesting process enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge transfer. Skilled & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure IaaS.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure components and their management within Microsoft Azure environments.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to virtual machines, storage, and networking in cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and techniques to ensure system health and performance.
- Ability to work with operating systems and application platforms integrated with cloud infrastructure.
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with users and technical teams.
