Role Overview :

We are looking for a Distinguished Engineer to provide senior-level technical leadership across complex technology initiatives. The role will act as a technical authority responsible for defining technology strategy, architecture standards, engineering practices, and solutions for highly complex enterprise systems. The candidate should have a strong engineering background with deep expertise in modern software architecture, distributed systems, cloud technologies, AI/ML, and large-scale enterprise technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide technical leadership for complex and strategic technology initiatives.
- Define long-term technology architecture, engineering standards, and technical roadmaps.
- Design highly scalable, reliable, secure, and resilient enterprise technology platforms.
- Solve complex technical problems spanning multiple engineering teams and technology domains.
- Establish architecture principles, design patterns, coding standards, and engineering best practices.
- Review and guide architecture decisions for critical technology platforms.
- Work closely with senior engineering leadership, enterprise architects, product teams, and technology stakeholders.
- Drive adoption of up-to-date technologies and engineering practices across the organization.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities for technology modernization.
- Provide technical direction for cloud-native, distributed, microservices, API-driven, and AI-enabled platforms.
- Guide teams on scalability, performance, reliability, security, and system design.




- Lead technical POCs and evaluate technology alternatives for strategic initiatives.
- Identify architectural risks, technical debt, and opportunities for modernization.
- Establish engineering governance and technical review mechanisms.
- Mentor senior architects, principal engineers, and engineering leaders.
- Influence technology strategy across multiple teams and business functions.
- Represent the engineering organization in high-level technical discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive innovation and establish reusable technology frameworks and platforms.

Required Skills :

- 15 to 22 years of experience in software engineering, technology architecture, or enterprise technology.
- Strong track record of designing and leading large-scale enterprise technology platforms.
- Deep expertise in software architecture, distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and cloud-native technologies.
- Strong programming background in one or more modern programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or similar.
- Strong understanding of system design, scalability, reliability, performance, and security.
- Experience with cloud architecture and modern infrastructure technologies.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML and Generative AI technologies is highly desirable.
- Experience driving technology modernization and engineering transformation.
- Strong technical governance and architecture-review experience.
- Excellent technical leadership, communication, influence, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to operate as a hands-on technical authority while influencing multiple engineering teams.
