About the Role

Position: IT Specialist

Location: India (Remote)

Employment Type: Contract

Part Time: 5 hours per week

Remuneration: €250 - €350 per month equivalent to the local currency (based on relevant experience and suitability for the role).

Key Responsibilities：

IT Infrastructure & Cloud Management

- Coordinate with external IT and hosting providers to manage and monitor cloud infrastructure and application hosting environments, primarily on AWS.
- Manage and review servers, DNS, SSL certificates, backups and related infrastructure configurations.
- Monitor system availability, resource usage, performance and overall infrastructure health.
- Support deployment environments and infrastructure changes where required.

Cybersecurity & Access Management

- Perform regular security and vulnerability reviews across infrastructure and systems.
- Monitor logs, suspicious traffic, abnormal access and other potential security threats.
- Manage and periodically review administrative and privileged access to AWS, servers and development platforms.
- Review security configurations and controls, including firewall rules, IP restrictions, MFA/SSO and access permissions.
- Investigate security incidents and recommend preventive measures.

Monitoring & Incident Management





- Establish and maintain appropriate monitoring and alerting for critical systems.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, network and configuration-related incidents.
- Identify whether incidents originate from infrastructure, configuration or application layers and coordinate with the appropriate technical teams.
- Conduct root cause analysis for significant incidents and implement preventive actions.
- Regularly verify backups and support disaster recovery and restoration testing.

IT Governance & Collaboration

- Support technical requirements and evidence preparation for ISO 27001 and other security/compliance activities.
- Work with software developers, management and external IT/security providers to resolve technical issues and improve infrastructure security.

Requirements

- Experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, cloud operations or cybersecurity.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms.
- Positive understanding of Linux servers, networking, DNS, SSL, firewalls, backups and access management.
- Experience with system monitoring, log analysis and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of vulnerability management, security hardening and incident response.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues across infrastructure, network and application environments.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with developers and external technical providers.

Desirable

- Experience supporting SaaS or web-based production environments.
- Familiarity with PHP/MySQL-based application environments.
- Experience with penetration testing or vulnerability assessment.
- Knowledge of ISO 27001 or similar information security frameworks.
- Experience with disaster recovery, business continuity and cloud security.
