We're Hiring: Industrial Relations -Manager
Location: Chinchpada, Silvassa
Industry: Manufacturing / Packaging / Engineering / Process Industry
Experience: 1015 Years
Qualification: MLW / MSW / MBA-HR / PGDM-HR or equivalent
We are looking for a passionate and result-oriented IR Manager to join our growing manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in Industrial Relations, Labour Law Compliance, Contract Labour Management, Employee Relations, and Workforce Engagement while driving a culture of harmony, productivity, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Industrial Relations & Employee Relations
- Lead all Industrial Relations (IR) initiatives and maintain a positive industrial climate across the plant.
- Build and sustain healthy relationships also handle grievance redressal.
- Develop proactive IR strategies to ensure industrial peace and business continuity.
2. Plant HR Operations
- Oversee end-to-end Plant HR activities covering the complete employee lifecycle from recruitment to retirement.
- Drive manpower planning, workforce deployment, talent management, and succession planning.
- Manage employee performance, engagement, retention, and development initiatives.
3. Contract Labour Management
- Manage a large contract labour workforce and ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
- Monitor contractor performance, documentation, attendance, wage compliance, and statutory obligations.
- Ensure effective implementation of the Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act and related labour regulations.
4.Labour Law Compliance & Statutory Management
- Ensure 100% compliance with applicable Labour Laws, Factory Act, Industrial Relations Code, Social Security Code, CLRA, Minimum Wages Act, Bonus Act, Gratuity Act, and other statutory requirements.
- Maintain accurate HR and compliance documentation as per legal and organizational requirements.
5.Performance & Talent Management
- Drive Performance Management Systems (PMS) and talent development initiatives across the plant.
- Implement employee capability-building programs, leadership development, and skill enhancement initiatives.
- Support organizational development projects to improve workforce productivity and plant efficiency.
6.Strategic HR Leadership
- Develop and implement HR strategies that strengthen industrial relations, employee welfare, and organizational effectiveness.
- Lead change management initiatives and support continuous improvement programs.
- Prepare HR MIS reports, workforce analytics, compliance dashboards, and management presentations.
Desired Candidate Profile 10- 15 years of experience in Plant HR & Industrial Relations within Manufacturing, Packaging, Engineering, Metals, Steel, Chemicals or similar industries.
Strong expertise in Industrial Relations, Contract Labour Management, Employee Relations, and Labour Law Compliance.
Proven track record of managing large workforces and handling workforce challenges in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent understanding of Contract Labour Acts, Factory HR Practices, Industrial Relations Laws, Labour Welfare Regulations, and Statutory Compliance.
Solid negotiation, stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
