Role Description The Industrial Design Intern will work full remotely/in hybrid, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design products and solutions that support manufacturing safety and process intelligence. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in concept generation, participating in design thinking workshops, and contributing to product design for hardware or interfaces used in heavy industrial environments.

The intern will support prototyping efforts, prepare design documentation, and refine design concepts based on user feedback and engineering constraints. The role involves close coordination with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to ensure designs are functional, intuitive, and aligned with user needs and company objectives.





Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Industrial Design and Product Design, with the ability to translate user needs and safety requirements into practical design solutions.
- Demonstrated skills in Concept Generation and Design Thinking to develop and iterate on innovative ideas for industrial applications.
- Hands-on experience or coursework in Prototyping, including building, testing, and refining physical or digital models.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in relevant design tools (e.g., CAD software, 3D modeling, visualization tools) and basic knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work in office in Hyderabad, collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, and communicate design decisions clearly.
- Interest in AI-driven solutions, industrial safety, and human-centered design; prior internship or project experience in related domains is a plus.
