Engagement of an independent consultant to conduct a comprehensive audit of the existing IT infrastructure ecosystem and recommend key optimizations and changes.

BACKGROUND The Firm operates a growing IT infrastructure ecosystem supporting its legal practice, client-confidential data, and day-to-day operations. As the Firm scales, it seeks an independent, objective assessment of its current technology workplace to identify inefficiencies, risks, and modernization opportunities — and to receive a clear, prioritized roadmap of recommended changes.

OBJECTIVES

● Assess the current state of IT infrastructure across the Firm's Bangalore office and any connected locations.

● Identify gaps, risks, single points of failure, and technical debt in the existing setup.

● Recommend a future-ready, secure, and cost-optimized infrastructure roadmap, sequenced by priority.

● Enable leadership to make informed, data-backed decisions on infrastructure investment.

SCOPE OF WORK

● Network architecture: LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, firewalls, VPN, and remote-access setup.

● Server, storage and compute infrastructure: on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.

● Data security, access controls, and compliance posture,



with attention to client data confidentiality obligations typical of legal practice.

● Endpoint and device management practices across the user base.

● Backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity readiness.

● IT service management, helpdesk operations, and vendor/AMC management.

● Software licensing and asset management.

● A prioritized optimization roadmap with indicative cost-benefit view for key recommendations.

KEY DELIVERABLES

● Current-state infrastructure assessment report.

● Gap analysis and risk register.

● Infrastructure optimization and modernization roadmap (short / medium / long-term).

● Cost-benefit view for major recommended changes.

● Final presentation and walkthrough with Firm leadership and IT stakeholders.

CONSULTANT PROFILE & ELIGIBILITY

● Demonstrated experience auditing IT infrastructure for professional services, legal, or similarly regulated organizations (preferred).

● Strong grasp of data security and confidentiality requirements relevant to the legal sector.

● Ability to work independently, and to engage directly with senior leadership and IT stakeholders.

● Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISA, cloud platform certifications) preferred but not mandatory.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

● Technical proposal outlining approach, methodology, and indicative timeline.

● Commercial proposal / fee structure.

● Relevant past engagement references, particularly in professional services or legal sector contexts.

● CVs of the consultant(s) who will be directly engaged on this assignment.
