About the Opportunity

We are hiring for a senior leadership position to lead and build the Investor Relations Consulting practice in India for a leading global organisation with an established presence in capital markets and financial services.

The role will be responsible for business growth, strategic Investor Relations advisory, senior client relationships and team leadership .

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and grow the Investor Relations consulting practice in India.
- Drive new business through acquisition of Investor Relations mandates from listed companies, pre-IPO organisations and other capital-market participants.
- Build strong relationships with CEOs, CFOs, Boards, investment banks, private equity firms, legal advisors and financial institutions .
- Lead client pitches, proposals, commercial discussions and contract negotiations.
- Develop and execute strategies to grow the IR practice, revenue and profitability.
- Advise senior management on investor engagement, capital-market communication, ESG positioning and investor perception .
- Advise clients on IPO readiness, fundraising, M&A; transactions, crisis communication and market-sensitive announcements.
- Develop effective equity stories and investment propositions for clients.
- Lead investor targeting, analyst engagement, investor conferences and non-deal roadshows.
- Monitor market sentiment,



shareholder composition, analyst coverage and peer benchmarking.
- Build and mentor a high-performing Investor Relations consulting team.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling with other financial-market services , including registry and ESOP solutions.

Ideal Candidate We are looking for a senior professional with:
- 15–20+ years of experience in Investor Relations, Equity Research, Corporate Communications, Capital Markets, Investment Banking or Financial PR.
- Strong experience managing listed-company Investor Relations programmes / multiple corporate clients .
- Proven track record in business development and winning new mandates .
- Robust network across listed companies, institutional investors and capital-market stakeholders.
- Excellent understanding of capital markets, investor engagement and corporate communication.
- Strong client-facing, advisory, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Experience leading and developing teams.
- MBA / CFA / CA or equivalent qualification would be an advantage.
