If you're a test engineering expert with a passion for power electronics and silicon validation, this is your opportunity. /n About the Role /n We are looking for an experienced IC Test Engineer – DC-DC Converter & Power Solutions to join our Mid-Vin Buck team within TI's Power Products division. You will own the full test lifecycle — from test plan generation to volume production release — for cutting-edge mid-voltage regulators serving enterprise, industrial, AI, and autonomous driving markets. /n This is a high-ownership, high-impact role where your work directly ensures that millions of power devices shipped globally meet the highest quality standards. /n Key Responsibilities /n /n
- Partner with design teams to understand device specifications and generate comprehensive test plans
/n
- Create and optimize ATE test and characterization programs
/n
- Design ATE hardware interface boards for silicon validation
/n
- Debug and characterize silicon on ATE; correlate with bench measurements
/n
- Perform statistical yield analysis, debug yield fallout, and drive yield improvement
/n
- Support failure analysis tasks and comprehensive device debugging
/n
- Drive silicon qualification including qual hardware development
/n
- Lead test strategy definition for new DC-DC converter products
/n
- Manage product release to volume production in collaboration with manufacturing teams
/n
- Champion robust, cost-effective test solutions while maintaining accountability for product quality
/n /n Required Skills & Experience /n /n
- 5+ years of relevant test engineering experience (8+ preferred)
/n
- Hands-on ATE experience — Teradyne Eagle preferred; iFlex, LTX, or VLCT also considered
/n
- Proven experience in characterization & production test program and hardware development
/n
- Robust knowledge of electronic devices, circuits, and analog test techniques
/n
- Data analysis proficiency using Spotfire, dataPower, or equivalent STDF-based tools
/n
- Experience with lab equipment — oscilloscopes, power supplies, sourcemeters, electronic loads
/n
- Solid understanding of IC product development lifecycle from concept to volume production
/n
- Experience in yield improvement and test time reduction initiatives
/n /n Preferred Qualifications /n /n
- Mixed-signal test experience on ATE, especially for power products
/n
- Experience with test program offload to offshore manufacturing sites
/n
- Programming skills in C++, Python, or C#
/n
- Familiarity with revision control tools
/n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
/n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
/n
