This role is work from Office 4 days out of 5 days in a week (For initial 2 months, post that it would be hybrid as 2 days in a week).

You will be required to come to EPAM client office ( based on client needs ) .

Will be responsible for the complete testing lifecycle of highly complex projects or features, encompassing test design, automation development within their squad.

1. Solid knowledge of SOAP and REST APIs both manual and automation
2. REST Assured , Playwright , TestNG, Selenium
3. Java/typescript/Java Script
4. CI/CD (GIT/Jenkins)
5. Resources must have good automation development experience mainly backend automation both Soap and Rest Api's.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead & Architect Automation Solutions Design and develop end-to-end automation architectures for applications, infrastructure, and business processes from scratch or significantly enhance existing frameworks, focusing on maintainability, execution speed, and coverage.
2. Technical Leadership & Mentorship — Provide technical leadership and mentorship to automation engineers, establish and enforce automation standards, guidelines, and best practices across squads.
3. Cross-Squad Automation Strategy — Actively lead prioritization of cross-squad automation initiatives, collaborate with development, QA, operations, and business teams to identify opportunities and define automation strategies.
4. Delivery Quality & Predictability — Ensure predictability, quality, and efficiency in squad delivery; escalate challenges outside the team's control that impact delivery.
5. Framework & Component Development — Lead the creation of reusable automation components, libraries,



and frameworks that are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with industry best practices.
6. Code Reviews & Test Coverage — Collaborate closely with developers during code reviews and provide recommendations for improving test coverage at the appropriate level.
7. Tooling & Technology Evaluation — Evaluate, select, and implement automation tools and frameworks based on project and organizational requirements; stay current with the latest trends in automation technologies.
8. Productivity & Process Improvement — Automate repetitive manual tasks to boost personal and team productivity; monitor automation performance, analyze results, and drive continuous improvement.
9. Test Automation Frameworks — Advanced ability to create and maintain frameworks that facilitate test execution and comprehensive reporting.
10. CI/CD & DevOps — Experienced in continuous integration and continuous deployment automation and orchestration within Agile development environments.
11. Software Testing — Experienced in software testing methodologies, providing stakeholders with quality insights across the product lifecycle.
12. Microservices / SOA — Proficient in microservices and service-oriented architecture; understands how services interact within a broader technology stack.
13. Troubleshooting — Advanced ability to systematically identify, diagnose, and resolve issues across systems and processes.
14. IT Risk Management — Advanced understanding of policies, procedures, and technologies used to mitigate threats and reduce vulnerabilities.
15. Technology Strategy & Governance — Competent in aligning automation efforts with broader IT strategy, governance frameworks, and organizational goals.
