We are looking for a technically sound and enthusiastic Home Automation Engineer / Technician to join our Projects & Technical Team.

Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation & Commissioning

- Install and commission smart home automation systems at customer/project sites.
- Install and configure smart switches, sensors, lighting controls, curtain motors, smart locks, gateways and other automation devices.
- Carry out wiring, termination and basic electrical connections as required.
- Test devices and ensure proper functioning after installation.
- Configure and commission automation scenes and routines.
- Assist in integrating lighting, curtains, HVAC, security and other systems.

Programming & Configuration
- Configure automation devices through relevant software/apps.
- Set up Wi-Fi, Zigbee, wired and wireless automation devices.
- Configure gateways, hubs and controllers.
- Create and test scenes, schedules and automation routines.
- Assist senior engineers with KNX, DALI, Wiser, Tuya and other automation systems.
- Maintain project configuration and programming records.

Troubleshooting & Service
- Diagnose and rectify problems related to automation devices and connectivity.
- Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, network and communication issues.
- Attend service calls and resolve technical complaints.




- Coordinate with senior engineers for complex technical issues.
- Provide technical support to customers and project teams.

Project Coordination
- Coordinate with electricians, contractors, interior designers and other site teams.
- Understand basic electrical drawings and wiring layouts.
- Follow project installation standards and safety procedures.
- Ensure work is completed within project timelines.
- Maintain installation and commissioning checklists.
- Report site progress and technical issues to the project manager.

Customer Support
- Demonstrate the installed automation system to customers.
- Explain basic operation of apps, switches and automation scenes.
- Train customers on the use of the installed system.
- Provide professional after-sales service and support.

Technical Skills Knowledge or willingness to learn:
- Home Automation / Smart Home systems
- Wi-Fi, LAN and basic networking
- Basic electrical wiring and troubleshooting
- Sensors and smart switches
- Motorised curtains/blinds
- Smart locks
- Lighting control
- IR/RF devices
- Zigbee and Wi-Fi devices
- Mobile apps and smart home platforms
- Basic IP addressing and router configuration

Knowledge of any of the following will be an advantage:

- KNX
- Schneider Wiser
- Tuya / Smart Life
- Zigbee




- DALI
- Crestron
- Lutron
- CCTV
- Access Control
- Home Theatre / AV integration

Candidate Profile The candidate should be:
- Technically inclined and willing to learn.
- Comfortable working at customer/project sites.
- Good at troubleshooting and problem solving.
- Able to communicate professionally with customers and contractors.
- Punctual, disciplined and responsible.
- Comfortable using smartphones, computers and technical applications.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Willing to travel to project sites in Mumbai and occasionally outside Mumbai.

Qualification ITI / Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech / Electrical / Electronics / Computer / Networking or equivalent technical qualification.

Candidates with hands-on experience in electrical, networking, CCTV, AV, security systems or home automation will also be considered.

Experience

0–3 years of relevant experience.

Freshers with a strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn may also apply.
