The role involves designing reliable integrations, troubleshooting production issues, implementing resilient event-processing patterns, and ensuring secure handling of payment and tokenization workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot middleware integrations using Workato for event-based integrations and Informatica for data-driven workflows.
- Build and support event-driven integration patterns using webhooks, message queues, asynchronous processing, dead-letter queues, retries, and backoff mechanisms.
- Develop resilient integration workflows with appropriate exception handling, failure recovery, monitoring, logging, and alerting.
- Design and implement API versioning and lifecycle management strategies while maintaining backward compatibility.
- Integrate payment platforms and tokenization-boundary systems while following PCI-compliant security and data-handling practices.
- Support integrations across Salesforce, Oracle CPQ, Oracle Fusion, and other enterprise applications.
- Administer and troubleshoot middleware/application servers including WebLogic, WebSphere, NGINX, and Apache Tomcat.

- Work with BizTalk and/or CFI/MFT technologies for enterprise messaging and file-based integrations.
- Monitor middleware and database environments and proactively identify performance, availability, and integration issues.
- Establish real-time alerting and operational monitoring for critical integration workflows.
- Troubleshoot production incidents involving middleware, APIs, databases, message processing, and downstream/upstream application dependencies.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, QA, database teams, Salesforce teams, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable integration solutions.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation covering integration architecture, workflows, configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and operational processes.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on integration reliability, scalability, security, and performance.
Technical Expectations
- Strong hands-on experience with Workato and event-driven integrations.
- Experience developing Informatica data-driven workflows.
- Strong understanding of event-driven architecture and asynchronous integration patterns.
- Practical experience with webhooks, message queues, DLQ, retry, timeout, and backoff mechanisms.
- Valuable understanding of REST APIs, API lifecycle management, API versioning, and backward compatibility.
- Experience with payment integrations, tokenization, sensitive-data handling, and PCI-scoped environments.
- Hands-on administration/support experience with WebLogic, WebSphere, NGINX, or Apache Tomcat.
- Strong Oracle PL/SQL development and troubleshooting experience.
- Database administration/support experience with one or more of Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or Informix.
- Exposure to BizTalk and/or CFI/MFT middleware technologies.
- Experience with production support, incident management, monitoring, logging, and root-cause analysis.
Good to Have
- Integration experience with Salesforce, Oracle CPQ, and Oracle Fusion.
- Experience with AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, or other cloud-based integration services.
- Knowledge of real-time middleware monitoring and alerting frameworks.
- Exposure to GraphQL, event sourcing, or modern integration architectures.
- Strong understanding of security practices for payment and tokenization systems.
- Workato, Informatica, Oracle, Salesforce, or integration-related certifications.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
