Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage delivery pipelines, infrastructure automation, release governance, and operational deployment practices for an Azure AI Engineering Platform.

The role will focus on building reliable and repeatable deployment frameworks, controlled environment promotion, Infrastructure-as-Code automation, security integration, and release practices across the software delivery lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for Terraform infrastructure, Azure platform services, application configuration, and environment promotion.
- Implement pull-request validations, policy gates, security scans, approvals, build validations, and deployment controls.
- Automate Terraform plan/apply workflows, state management, module versioning, validation, and infrastructure drift detection.
- Support deployment automation for AI Gateway, orchestration services, RAG components, observability configurations, and integration assets.
- Enable LLMOps practices including configuration and prompt versioning, evaluation gates, canary/blue-green deployments, rollback, and operational feedback loops.
- Establish deployment standards, runbooks, release checklists, dashboards, incident-support scripts, and operational procedures.
- Integrate SAST, dependency scanning, IaC scanning, secret detection, compliance checks, and secure credential management into CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement Git branching strategies, pull-request governance, artifact management, release controls, and reusable pipeline templates.
- Support Kubernetes/OpenShift deployment patterns, image promotion, configuration management, and secrets handling.
- Coach engineering teams on Git practices, release hygiene,



automation-first development, and CI/CD standards.
- Collaborate with architects, cloud engineers, security, SRE, application engineering, and client IT teams.

Technical Expectations
- Solid hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
- Strong expertise in Terraform automation, including state backends, tfvars, plan validation, module management, drift detection, and environment promotion.
- Strong understanding of Git, branching, pull-request governance, artifact repositories, pipeline templates, and release management.
- Hands-on experience integrating quality, security, compliance, and policy gates into automated delivery pipelines.
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, Python, or equivalent.
- Experience with containerized deployment and Kubernetes/OpenShift environments.
- Understanding of canary/blue-green deployment, rollback strategies, runbooks, release dashboards, incident support, and deployment auditability.
- Experience working with regulated or high-availability platforms where controlled releases, traceability, and rollback are critical.

Experience Requirements
- 8+ years in DevOps, Release Engineering, Platform Automation, or Cloud Delivery roles.
- 5+ years building enterprise CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment frameworks.
- 3+ years of hands-on Terraform and Azure/cloud infrastructure automation experience.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale, regulated, or high-availability environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across engineering, security, architecture, SRE, and client IT teams.

Project Context This role supports the Personal Health Concierge delivery initiative, focusing on the Azure AI Engineering Platform foundation, Azure landing zone, AI Gateway, security, governance, observability, CI/CD automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
