Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and experienced HSE Officer / HSE Engineer to ensure a protected and healthy working setting at project sites. The candidate will be responsible for implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, identifying hazards and ensuring compliance with applicable safety standards and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures and safety standards at project sites.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
- Prepare and maintain HSE documentation, checklists, reports and records.
- Conduct Toolbox Talks, Safety Induction and Safety Training for employees and workers.
- Ensure proper use of PPE such as helmets, safety shoes, gloves, safety harnesses and reflective jackets.
- Monitor work-at-height, excavation, scaffolding, lifting, electrical and other high-risk activities.
- Conduct Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Risk Assessments for various activities.
- Ensure compliance with Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems wherever applicable.
- Investigate accidents, incidents and near-miss cases and prepare corrective/preventive action reports.
- Monitor emergency preparedness, fire safety and first-aid arrangements at the site.
- Coordinate with project teams,



contractors and subcontractors regarding safety requirements.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and safe access/egress at the workplace.
- Maintain records of safety training, inspections, incidents and corrective actions.
- Support internal and external HSE audits and inspections.
- Ensure compliance with applicable statutory HSE requirements.
- Promote a strong safety culture among employees, workers and contractors.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly HSE reports for management.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of construction site safety practices.
- Knowledge of PPE, Risk Assessment, JSA, PTW and Toolbox Talks.
- Knowledge of fire safety and emergency response procedures.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to conduct safety training and awareness programs.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Ability to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and Excel.

Preferred Certifications
- NEBOSH
- IOSH
- OSHA
- Diploma in Industrial Safety / Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety
- First Aid / Fire Safety certification
