Role Description The Head of Procurement is a full time, remote role responsible for leading the end-to-end procurement function for VeloxCheck™. This role oversees supplier sourcing and management, including identifying, evaluating, and onboarding vendors aligned with business, compliance, and risk requirements.

Day-to-day responsibilities include developing procurement strategies, negotiating contracts and pricing, managing purchasing processes, and ensuring cost-effective and timely availability of products and services. The Head of Procurement collaborates closely with finance,



operations, legal, and business teams to maintain procurement policies, monitor supplier performance, and mitigate supply chain risks. The role also involves optimizing procurement systems, driving process improvements, and supporting strategic initiatives and expansion plans.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Supplier Management and Supplier Evaluation to build, maintain, and assess a reliable vendor network.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Contract Negotiation to secure favorable terms, manage risk, and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
- Candidates should possess solid experience in Purchasing and Procurement to manage sourcing, purchasing cycles, and cost optimization.
- Relevant experience in risk-focused or services-based industries (e.g., BFSI, fintech, consulting) and familiarity with compliance-driven procurement environments is beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to develop procurement strategies, analyze data, manage budgets, and implement process improvements is preferred.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills, with experience leading cross-functional initiatives or teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field; advanced certifications in procurement or supply chain (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) are an advantage.
