About the Role

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and technically sharp Graphic Designer & Video Editor to join the Tapua team. In this role, you will shape our brand’s visual identity across packaging, social media creatives, high-impact short-form videos (Reels/Shorts), and digital ad campaigns.

This position is ideal for an ambitious designer/editor who thrives in a quick-paced brand environment and is eager to convert high-quality creative work into a permanent, full-time career.

Key Responsibilities

- Visual & Brand Design: Create visually compelling graphics for product packaging, e-commerce listings, promotional banners, and social media channels.
- Video Editing & Motion Graphics: Conceptualize, cut, and edit engaging short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, ad creatives) with clean pacing, sound design, transitions, and typography.
- Brand Consistency: Maintain strict adherence to brand guidelines, color palettes, aesthetics, and design systems.
- Creative Iteration: Collaborate closely with the core team to brainstorm concepts, iterate rapidly based on performance metrics, and produce production-ready assets.

Required Skills & Software Proficiency We are looking for hands-on expertise across industry-standard design and editing suites:
- Graphic & Layout Design:
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Figma / Canva (for rapid layout & social templates)
- Video Editing & Motion Design:




- Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / DaVinci Resolve
- Adobe After Effects (motion graphics, typography animations, logo reveals)
- CapCut Desktop (for fast-turnaround, trend-driven short-form content)
- General Skills:
- Strong sense of typography, color theory, framing, and visual hierarchy.
- Good understanding of audio syncing, sound effects (SFX), and storytelling rhythm in video formats.

What We Are Looking For
- Prior internship experience, freelance portfolio, or formal training demonstrating strong creative execution.
- High dedication, ability to meet project deadlines, and proactive communication in a hybrid setup.
- A portfolio showcasing both static design assets (branding/packaging/social) and dynamic video edits.

Selection Process & Qualification Criteria
- Portfolio Review: Initial screening of submitted design and video samples.
- Live Skill Demonstration: Candidates who pass the screening will undergo a live, timed practical design/editing assessment during the interview to evaluate workflow speed, software mastery, and creative problem-solving in real time.
- Final Interview & Cultural Fit: Discussion on role scope, growth, and long-term potential.
