Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and technically proficient Geologist / Quarry Geologist to support geological exploration, quarry planning, mining operations, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building stone quarry operations, geological mapping, exploration, and providing geological inputs for drilling, blasting, and extraction activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct geological mapping, surveys, and exploration activities to evaluate stone reserves and geological conditions.
- Understand and implement approved mining plans in day-to-day quarry operations.
- Support the Mining Engineer and Mines Manager in planning and executing quarry activities.
- Assist with feasibility studies, exploration programs, and quarry mine operations.
- Provide geological inputs for drilling, blasting, excavation, and extraction activities.
- Prepare, maintain, and regularly update geological records, maps, sections, and technical reports.
- Monitor geological conditions and provide recommendations to optimize quarry extraction and resource utilization.




- Support mine planning and ensure operations are carried out in accordance with approved plans.
- Monitor safety and environmental compliance during quarry operations.
- Handle regulatory compliance, government documentation, statutory records, and required clearances.
- Coordinate with site and technical teams to ensure efficient and compliant quarry operations.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- MSc in Geology, Applied Geology, or Mining Engineering.

- 2–3 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in quarrying, mining, or building stone operations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge and practical understanding of building stone quarry operations.
- Good understanding of geological mapping, exploration, reserve evaluation, and quarry development.
- Knowledge of drilling, blasting, and extraction processes.
- Familiarity with mining plans, statutory requirements, and regulatory compliance.
- Good technical documentation and reporting skills.
- Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
