Description

Sia Partners is hiring a Generative AI Engineer for its Mumbai office. The role focuses on building business-centric GenAI solutions across industries, from prototypes to enterprise-grade deployments.

Location: Mumbai (onsite)

Experience

- 5 years of experience in NLP/ML/AI

- At least 3 years hands-on in GenAI

Qualification

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, AI, or a related field

- Master’s degree in computer science, AI, or a related field

Responsibilities

- Work as part of a cross-functional consulting team to drive adoption of Generative AI

- Collaborate with customers to understand business requirements and design bespoke GenAI solutions

- Build applications powered by LLMs using LangChain, LlamaIndex, and related GenAI frameworks

- Implement RAG pipelines with vector databases to ground LLM responses with internal knowledge

- Develop multimodal AI solutions and autonomous agents where relevant

- Design robust and reusable prompt templates

- Improve model reliability, relevance, and user experience through prompt flow tuning

- Deploy GenAI models on cloud platforms using managed AI services

- Ensure performance observability, security guardrails, compliance, scalability, and efficiency

- Integrate GenAI solutions into microservices and APIs with DevOps teams

- Benchmark open-source and commercial LLMs for use-case fit and cost-performance tradeoffs

- Evaluate fine-tuning strategies for proprietary use cases

- Support solution architects and cross-functional teams in delivering PoCs and enterprise-grade rollouts

- Document frameworks, best practices, risks,



and learnings for future scaling

Additional Responsibilities

- Start from benchmarks of candidate foundation models through targeted requests

- Rapidly iterate prototypes

- Validate product ideas

- Navigate between prompts, chains, and agents

- Master underlying infrastructure challenges

- Provide business-centric solutions across myriad industries
