Role Description The Generative AI Engineer will design, build, and optimize generative AI models and systems that support cutting-edge digital products and solutions.

Responsibilities include developing and fine-tuning large language models and other generative architectures, creating data pipelines and model evaluation frameworks, and collaborating with product, data, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into robust AI features. The role involves prototyping new AI capabilities, conducting experiments, monitoring performance in production, and ensuring responsible use of AI, including fairness, transparency, and security. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division, requiring close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders and active participation in technical design discussions and code reviews.





Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in core software engineering, such as proficiency in Python or similar languages, experience with APIs and microservices, and solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Candidates should possess skills in machine learning and deep learning, including experience with frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch, model training and evaluation, and understanding of NLP and generative model architectures.
- Candidates should possess experience with generative AI tooling and platforms, such as working with large language models, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and integration of foundation models into production systems.
- Candidates should possess skills in data engineering and MLOps, including building data pipelines, versioning models, monitoring performance, and deploying models using cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Candidates should possess strong analytical and communication skills, such as the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights and collaborate effectively with product, design, and business teams.
- Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, along with prior experience in AI/ML or software engineering roles.
- Additional beneficial experience includes familiarity with responsible AI principles, experimentation and A/B testing, working in agile environments, and contributing to technical documentation or open-source projects.
