ApplyAZ helps international students access English-taught programs at public universities in Italy and supports eligible students throughout the admission, scholarship, visa, and arrival process.

We create practical, engaging content for students who want to study in Italy. We are looking for a freelance video editor who understands modern social media content and knows how to turn raw footage into videos that hold attention and generate action.

What You’ll Edit

- Instagram Reels
- TikTok videos
- YouTube Shorts
- Talking-head educational videos
- Student success stories and testimonials
- Promotional videos and social media ads
- Videos recorded in universities, offices, cities, and student locations across Italy

Most videos will be short-form, vertical content. We will normally provide the raw footage, script, brand assets, and editing direction.

What You’ll Do

- Turn raw footage into polished, high-retention videos.
- Remove pauses, mistakes, repetition, and unnecessary sections.
- Add accurate and visually engaging subtitles.
- Use jump cuts, punch-ins, B-roll, graphics, icons, and transitions where they improve the video.
- Strengthen the opening hook and maintain attention throughout the video.
- Add music and sound effects without overpowering the speaker.
- Correct colour, lighting, framing, and audio where needed.
- Follow ApplyAZ’s visual identity and maintain a consistent editing style.
- Create platform-ready versions in the correct dimensions and formats.
- Make reasonable revisions based on clear feedback.




- Deliver final exports and editable project files in an organized manner.
- Use properly licensed or royalty-free footage, music, and visual assets.

What We’re Looking For
- Strong portfolio of short-form social media videos.
- Experience editing talking-head, educational, promotional, or personal-brand content.
- Strong understanding of hooks, pacing, retention, captions, and mobile-first editing.
- Professional experience with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or comparable editing software.
- Ability to create clean motion graphics and branded visual elements.
- Valuable written English and strong attention to subtitle accuracy.
- Ability to follow a brief while also suggesting improvements.
- Reliable communication and consistent delivery.
- Ability to work independently in a remote freelance arrangement.
- Experience with education, travel, immigration, or youth-focused content is an advantage.

A degree or editing certificate is not required. Your portfolio, reliability, editing quality, and ability to follow our brand direction matter most.

Working Arrangement

- Remote and freelance
- Work assigned based on our content requirements
- Scope, schedule, and deadline agreed before each assignment
- Payment may be agreed per video, per project, or per hour
- Potential for consistent ongoing work for the right editor
- No guaranteed minimum number of hours or projects
- To be considered, you must be able to share a portfolio containing videos you personally edited.
