About the Role

We are looking for a sharp, hands-on Formulation Professional with strong technical expertise in Oral Care Formulation and Product Development.

The ideal candidate will have practical experience in developing, testing, optimising, and scaling oral care products. This role requires strong technical depth and hands-on formulation capabilities rather than a profile focused primarily on coordination, documentation, or R&D; support.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and optimise formulations for various oral care products.
- Conduct hands-on laboratory trials, formulation experiments, and product development activities.
- Evaluate raw materials and ingredients for performance, compatibility, stability, and functionality.
- Conduct formulation trials and optimise products based on performance, quality, cost, and consumer requirements.
- Work on recent product development (NPD) and improvement of existing formulations.
- Conduct stability studies and support product performance evaluation.
- Troubleshoot formulation-related issues and identify appropriate technical solutions.
- Collaborate with R&D;, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, and other cross-functional teams during product development.
- Support scale-up and technology transfer from laboratory batches to pilot/commercial production.
- Maintain formulation records, trial reports, technical documentation, and development data.
- Stay updated on new ingredients, formulation technologies, market trends, and innovations in oral care.
- Ensure formulations meet applicable quality, safety, performance, and regulatory requirements.





Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, or a relevant scientific discipline.
- ICT candidates with 2+ years of relevant formulation experience may be considered.
- Candidates with 56+ years of specific Oral Care Formulation experience are preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience in oral care product formulation and development.
- Experience in formulation trials, optimisation, troubleshooting, and product improvement.
- Strong understanding of raw materials, ingredients, their functionality, and compatibility.
- Experience working on product development from laboratory trials through scale-up is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Good understanding of formulation processes, stability, and product performance.
- Strong technical knowledge with the ability to independently execute formulation activities.
- Candidates from FMCG, Oral Care, Personal Care, Pharma, Specialty Chemicals, or related formulation industries are preferred.

What We Are Looking For

We are specifically looking for candidates who are hands-on and technically strong in formulation.

Candidates whose experience is primarily limited to coordination, documentation, regulatory support, QA/QC, or general R&D; assistance without significant practical formulation exposure will not be preferred.

Compensation

Up to 12 LPA, depending on relevant experience, technical expertise, and current compensation.
