We are urgently looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented and experienced Accountant / Finance Manager for our operations in Tanzania. The ideal candidate should have 5–10 years of hands-on experience in core accounting, banking, audit, cash handling and financial management.

Candidates with previous Africa experience will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting and finance operations.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
- Handle bookkeeping and accounting entries.
- Prepare and maintain general ledgers, journals and vouchers.
- Perform regular bank reconciliation and account reconciliation .
- Handle cash management and cash transactions.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Finalisation of Books of Accounts , including review of ledgers, provisions, accruals, depreciation and other year-end adjustments.
- Prepare and finalize Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet .
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
- Handle banking transactions and coordinate with banks.
- Monitor cash flow, expenses and financial transactions.
- Prepare financial and management reports.
- Ensure proper documentation and accounting controls.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and company policies.
- Support management with financial analysis and accounting-related matters.

Required Qualifications & Skills




- B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting/finance experience .
- Strong practical knowledge of:
- Core Accounting
- Bookkeeping
- Finalisation of Books of Accounts
- Profit & Loss Account & Balance Sheet
- Bank Reconciliation
- Banking Operations
- Cash Handling
- Audit
- Financial Reporting
- Tally ERP experience is essential.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage accounting operations.
- Africa experience is preferred.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be honest, responsible, accurate and detail-oriented , with strong knowledge of accounting procedures and the ability to independently handle the complete accounting cycle up to finalization of books of accounts . Salary & Benefits
