About the Role
We are seeking a technically strong Finance Manager who is, above all, a finance generalist — comfortable owning everything from transaction-level accounting to financial statement finalisation, and equally invested in improving the processes underneath. The ideal candidate has hands-on knowledge of Ind AS, experience in consolidation, and a strong grip on audits and fixed asset management, with the ability to run a disciplined close across multiple entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and finalise the balance sheet, P&L;, and cash flow statements in compliance with Ind AS
- Drive balance sheet schedules, reconciliations, and deep-dive analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles with solid control over provisions, accruals, prepayments, and depreciation
- Manage group-level consolidation, including elimination entries and inter-company reconciliations
- Handle Fixed Asset Register (FAR) — capitalization, asset tracking, depreciation, and periodic reconciliation
- Support and lead statutory, internal, and tax audits, including preparation of audit schedules and resolution of audit queries
- Ensure compliance with Ind AS reporting requirements, including preparation and review of financial statements and disclosures
- Operate as a finance generalist across AP, treasury, taxation, compliance, and reporting
- Drive process improvements and standardisation, especially around closing, reconciliations,
and reporting workflows
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF/ESI, and Companies Act filings
- Develop MIS, variance analysis, and management reporting for leadership
Requirements
- CA (qualified)/MBA in Finance is preferred
- 2–4 years of experience in core finance, with demonstrated ownership of the close cycle
- Strong working knowledge of Ind AS, including financial statement preparation
- Proven experience in balance sheet finalisation, consolidation, and audit handling
- Hands-on experience in managing Fixed Asset Registers (FAR) and depreciation accounting
- Exposure to big audit firms or handling complex audit environments is a strong advantage
- A true generalist profile with broad exposure across accounting, taxation, compliance, and reporting
- Demonstrated track record of driving process improvements and building scalable workflows
- In-depth understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
- Advanced Excel and ERP proficiency (Zoho Books, Tally, or similar)
- Strong analytical and stakeholder-management skills; able to meet tight deadlines
Preferred Skills
- Experience in hospitality, real estate, co-living, or high-growth startups
- Exposure to multi-entity consolidation and group reporting structures
- Experience working with or alongside Big 4 / reputed audit firms
- A continuous-improvement mindset — always looking to simplify, automate, and scale
