What are we looking for

As a Financial Controller at R N C A & Associates, your mission is to serve as a critical operational pillar bridging senior leadership (Partners), junior audit/accounting squads, and our diverse enterprise client portfolio. You will own and elevate core accounting, financial reporting, and statutory compliance workflows while driving accounting best practices, proactive client communication, and overall operational excellence across the firm.

What are you accountable for

Core Accounting & Financial Reporting: Supervising, reviewing, and streamlining daily ledger accounting, statutory books, and financial returns managed by junior team members while preparing high-precision MIS reports and executive board packs.

AI & Workflow Automation Execution: Identifying repetitive manual data tasks across accounting, reconciliation, and reporting loops, and deploying AI tools, smart automation scripts, or digital workflows to increase operational velocity dramatically.

Statutory & Regulatory Governance: Overseeing complete compliance hygiene across Direct Taxes (Income Tax, TDS), Indirect Taxes (GST filings and refunds), FEMA regulations, RBI guidelines, and Companies Act (ROC) mandates.





Operating Benchmarks & Budgeting: Collaborating with leadership to establish and monitor financial performance metrics, operating budgets, cash-flow projections, and team utilization benchmarks.

Proactive Client & Stakeholder Communication: Serving as a primary, high-touch financial contact for clients, anticipating compliance needs, and communicating well ahead of statutory, tax, and reporting deadlines.

Client Relationship Architecture: Translating complex financial data into actionable management insights for business leaders, acting as a trusted client-facing advisor.

Relevant Skills and Experience that we are looking for

Experience & Background

- Professional Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- Relevant Track Record: 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience in accounting, auditing, and statutory compliance within a reputed CA firm, KPO, or professional consulting setup.
- Availability & Location: Office-based in Ahmedabad with a preference for immediate joiners.

Technical Skills & Financial Capabilities

- AI Tool Adoption & Implementation: Practical familiarity or active experience leveraging modern AI tools (like Claude, Gemini, or Copilot prompts for reporting, automated document processing, or intelligent financial analysis platforms) to optimize delivery turnarounds.
- Financial Benchmarking: Ability to coordinate with leadership/Partners to establish financial and operating benchmarks, budgets, and reporting standards on weekly, monthly, and annual bases.
- Audit & Data Precision: High level of accuracy in reviewing work discharged by junior team members, ensuring 100% audit readiness and data integrity across all filings.
