Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Field Application Engineer.

The Field Application

Engineer provides technical guidance to customers on Yangjie’s semiconductor products, helping them select, design in, and optimize devices for their applications. Typical responsibilities include understanding customer requirements, preparing and delivering technical presentations, supporting design reviews, and offering hands-on troubleshooting for analog and power electronics systems. The role collaborates closely with sales teams to address customer inquiries, develop solution proposals, and contribute to design-win strategies.



The engineer also gathers market and application feedback, supports product evaluations and benchmarks, and works with internal R&D; and product teams to improve future offerings.

Qualifications

- Strong Field Applications experience, including customer-facing technical consultation and design-in support.
- Proficiency in Technical Support activities, such as troubleshooting, application optimization, and post-sales assistance.
- Experience collaborating with Sales teams to drive design wins, prepare proposals, and support customer engagements.
- Solid knowledge of Analog circuits and power electronics, including discrete devices such as MOSFETs, IGBTs, rectifiers, and protection components.
- Background in Electronics engineering, with the ability to interpret datasheets, schematics, and system-level designs.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related technical field.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Comfort working independently in a remote environment and coordinating across international teams and time zones.
- Experience with applications in automotive, industrial, green energy, communication, or consumer electronics is an advantage.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills relevant to key markets are beneficial.
