Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose and manage infertility cases, develop individualized fertility treatment plans based on clinical findings and investigations.

Counsel patients/couples regarding fertility treatment options, IVF procedures, risks, benefits, success rates and expected outcomes.

Plan, monitor and manage IVF/ICSI treatment cycles including ovarian stimulation, follicular monitoring and trigger planning.

Perform Oocyte Retrieval / Ovum Pick-Up (OPU) as per competency, hospital authorization and approved clinical protocols.

Perform Embryo Transfer and ensure correct patient and embryo identification before the procedure.

Perform IUI and other authorized fertility procedures as per training, competency,and hospital privileges.

Coordinate with Embryologists, Nursing Staff,



Anaesthetists and other clinical teams throughout the fertility treatment cycle.

Monitor and manage procedure-related complications, providing timely intervention and escalation when required.

Ensure informed consent, accurate medical documentation and proper post-procedure follow-up for all patients.

Maintain patient safety, confidentiality, infection-control standards and compliance with hospital SOPs and applicable regulations.

Requirements MBBS with MD/MS/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology. Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine or Relavent.

Valid KMC/State Medical Council registration.

1–3 years of experience in Reproductive medicine and infertility (Fresher’s with strong clinical exposure can also apply).

Skilled in managing infertility diagnosis and treatment.

Strong communication, patient counselling and decision-making skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment and handle on-call/emergency duties.
