Key Responsibilities :

- /n Research current fashion trends, colors, fabrics, silhouettes, prints, and global market trends

- .Develop new and creative garment designs and collections based on buyer requirements and market trends

/n

- .Prepare mood boards, theme boards, color stories, design concepts, and seasonal collections

/n

- .Create detailed fashion illustrations, technical sketches, and design sheets

/n

- .Select suitable fabrics, trims, accessories, colors, prints, and embellishments for each design

/n

- .Develop and maintain design libraries, references, and seasonal trend boards

/n

- .Coordinate with merchandising, sampling, pattern, production, fabric, and sourcing teams for design development

/n

- .Work closely with the sampling team to convert designs into prototypes and samples

/n

- .Review samples and provide necessary fit, styling, construction, color, and design corrections

/n

- .Ensure that designs are commercially viable, production-friendly, and cost-effective

/n

- .Develop designs according to buyer specifications,



tech packs, measurements, and brand guidelines

/n

- .Coordinate with buyers/merchandisers for design approvals, revisions, and sample development

/n

- .Track sample development and ensure designs are completed within the required T&A; and production timelines

/n

- .Suggest suitable fabrications, washes, prints, embroideries, embellishments, and finishing techniques

/n

- .Maintain proper documentation of approved designs, samples, colorways, and revisions

/n

- .Stay updated with international fashion trends, competitor collections, and upcoming seasonal directions

/n

- .Support the merchandising and product development teams during buyer presentations and collection development

/n

- .Visit factories, sampling units, fabric suppliers, and other relevant locations when required

/n

- .Ensure all designs meet required quality, aesthetic, and production standards
