The Events Manager will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, marketing, and executing experiential events at the store (e.g., Tea & Pottery workshops, Tea & Networking evenings). The role owns the full event lifecycle — from ideation to profitability — and is accountable for driving footfall, revenue, and brand engagement through curated experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Event Planning & Execution
- Ideate and design a monthly/quarterly calendar of events (workshops, tastings, networking meetups, collabs, etc.)
- Plan logistics: vendors, materials, seating, timing, staffing, and store layout for each event
- Oversee on-ground execution to ensure smooth, on-brand experiences
- Coordinate with instructors/artisans/partners (e.g., pottery trainers, guest speakers)
Sign-ups & Registrations
- Set up and manage registration processes (forms, links, waitlists)
- Track attendee numbers and communicate event details/reminders to registrants
- Manage cancellations, refunds, and capacity planning
Marketing & Promotion
- Create and execute a marketing plan for each event (social media, email, in-store signage, WhatsApp broadcasts, etc.)
- Write event copy/descriptions and coordinate any design/creative needs
- Track marketing performance (reach, click-throughs, conversion to sign-ups) and optimize accordingly
- Build partnerships/collaborations to expand event reach (influencers, local businesses, communities)
Payment Collection & Financial Management
- Set up payment collection (via UPI, payment links,
POS, etc.) and ensure timely reconciliation
- Track all event-related costs (materials, vendor fees, staff time, marketing spend)
- Maintain an event-wise P&L; to ensure each event is priced correctly and profitable
- Report on revenue, costs, and margins after each event
Post-Event & Reporting
- Collect attendee feedback and document learnings for future events
- Maintain records of past events, attendance, revenue, and ROI
- Present periodic reports to store leadership on event performance and profitability
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in event management, hospitality, retail, or marketing (flexible based on seniority desired)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Comfortable with basic financial tracking (budgets, pricing, margins)
- Valuable communication and people skills — will interact with customers, vendors, and partners
- Familiarity with social media and basic marketing tools (Instagram, Canva, WhatsApp Business, email tools)
- Ability to work occasional evenings/weekends when events are scheduled
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Number of events executed per month/quarter
- Average sign-up/attendance rate per event
- Revenue and profit margin per event
- Marketing reach and conversion rate
- Customer satisfaction/feedback scores
Compensation
Fixed salary / Salary incentive tied to event profitability
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
