Role Description The EV Service Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Vijayawada, responsible for maintaining and servicing the company’s electric motorcycle fleet. This role involves performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and mechanical and electrical repairs to keep vehicles in optimal condition. The technician will diagnose and troubleshoot issues, replace or repair faulty components, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Daily tasks include documenting service activities, coordinating field visits as needed, and communicating clearly with riders and internal teams about vehicle status.



The EV Service Technician also supports customer service by responding to service-related queries and contributing to continuous improvements in fleet performance and reliability.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Maintenance & Repair skills, including scheduled servicing and component replacement for electric two-wheelers or similar vehicles.
- Candidates should possess effective Troubleshooting abilities to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues in EV systems.
- Candidates should possess Field Service experience, including on-site inspections, repairs, and support for vehicles in operation.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to interact professionally with riders, address concerns, and explain technical issues in clear language.
- Candidates should possess solid Maintenance practices, including adherence to safety procedures, documentation of work performed, and use of maintenance tools and equipment.
- Knowledge of EV powertrains, batteries, charging systems, and basic electrical safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret service manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Minimum vocational diploma or certification in automotive, electrical, or mechanical engineering (or equivalent practical experience).
- Comfort working on-site in a rapid-paced environment and collaborating with operations and support teams.
