We are looking for an Embedded QA Engineer to join the Adobe Print & Scan team in Noida. The role focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of embedded software that powers print and scan functionality in devices.
The ideal candidate will have strong testing fundamentals, analytical thinking, scripting experience, and familiarity with Linux/Unix environments. Experience with embedded systems, firmware, device drivers, or embedded Linux will be a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and execute comprehensive manual and automated test cases for embedded product features.
- Perform Black Box and White Box testing to validate functionality and product quality.
- Identify, reproduce, troubleshoot, and document software defects.
- Develop and execute automation scripts using Python and/or Shell/Bash.
- Contribute to increasing and maintaining overall test automation coverage.
- Analyze requirements and participate in product and development discussions to identify potential quality risks.
- Work closely with developers and product teams to validate new features and ensure compatibility with existing functionality.
- Aggregate test results and communicate findings, defects,
and quality observations.
- Apply testing best practices to improve overall product quality and release readiness.
Required Skills
- Strong software testing fundamentals and ability to independently design detailed test scenarios.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with Python and/or Shell/Bash scripting.
- Good understanding of Operating Systems and computer fundamentals, including memory and resource management.
- Hands-on experience working in a Linux/Unix environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in embedded QA/testing.
- Experience with firmware, device drivers, embedded Linux, or hardware-related products.
- Knowledge of C/C++.
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and basic programming concepts.
- Exposure to White Box testing and understanding of code paths.
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year
