Job Purpose To ensure the reliable and safe operation of electrical systems, production machinery and plant utilities by carrying out preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance, minimizing machine downtime and supporting continuous production.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of production machines and plant electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults in Cold Forging, Thread Rolling, Heat Treatment, Surface Treatment and Machining equipment.
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical control panels, MCC/PCC panels, DBs, contactors, relays, MCB/MCCB, overload relays and protection systems.
- Handle and troubleshoot AC motors, brake motors, pumps, compressors, blowers and other industrial electrical equipment.
- Basic troubleshooting of PLC, HMI, VFD, servo drives, sensors, proximity switches, limit switches and temperature controllers.
- Read and understand electrical circuit diagrams, control wiring and machine electrical drawings.
- Attend machine breakdowns promptly and take corrective action to minimize production downtime and MTTR.
- Conduct regular inspection of cables, terminals, earthing, panels, motors and electrical connections.
- Execute scheduled daily, weekly and monthly preventive maintenance activities and maintain proper records.
- Support maintenance of plant utilities such as DG sets, air compressors, pumps, cooling systems, lighting and power distribution systems.




- Identify recurring electrical failures and support Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Why-Why Analysis and corrective actions.
- Maintain adequate stock of critical electrical spares and coordinate with Stores/Purchase for required materials.
- Support installation, commissioning and modification of current machines and electrical equipment.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality and Mechanical Maintenance teams for smooth machine operation.
- Follow LOTO, electrical safety procedures, PPE requirements, 5S and company EHS standards.
- Maintain breakdown reports, PM checklists, machine history cards and other maintenance documentation.

Qualification
- Diploma / ITI in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering will be an added advantage.

Required Experience
- 2–3 years of hands-on electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing / auto-component / fasteners / forging industry.
- Experience in industrial machines, control panels, motors, VFDs, PLCs and electrical troubleshooting is preferred.
- Candidates with experience in cold forging, thread rolling, heat treatment, CNC/SPM or surface treatment equipment will be preferred.
