Role Description This is a full-time, in office Electrical Project Engineer role located in Udumalaippettai, Tamil Nadu, India.

The Electrical Project

Engineer will be responsible for designing and reviewing electrical systems for solar power projects, including rooftop and ground-mounted installations. Daily tasks include preparing single-line diagrams, cable schedules, and layouts; performing load calculations; and selecting appropriate equipment for power distribution and control. The role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely and quality project execution,



as well as conducting site assessments, inspections, and commissioning activities.

The Electrical Project

Engineer will also support compliance with applicable standards and safety regulations, maintain project documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering, Electricity, and Power Systems, with the ability to apply these principles to renewable energy projects.
- Proficiency in Electrical Design and Power Distribution for commercial and industrial solar installations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline; advanced certifications in power systems or renewable energy are an advantage.
- Experience in solar EPC or similar project environments, including site execution, testing, and commissioning.
- Familiarity with relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations applicable to industrial power systems.
- Ability to read and create technical drawings, use engineering software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, design and simulation tools), and maintain accurate documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail and quality.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site with multi-disciplinary teams and external partners.
