Roles and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have sound knowledge of electrical system design for power, lighting, and low-voltage systems, and industry codes and standards applicable to U.S building projects. This role involves assisting in design projects, mentoring junior engineers and designers, and collaborating with cross-discipline teams to deliver innovative electrical engineering solutions across various sectors including commercial, retail/hospitality,



industrial, healthcare, aviation, transportation (rail/transit/ports), education, and civic/community.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in design, and analysis of electrical systems for various projects under supervision of senior engineers.
- Prepare detailed electrical drawings, specifications, one-line diagrams, panel schedules, and load calculations using CAD and BIM platforms.
- Lighting calculations, short-circuit analysis, and voltage drop studies using industry-standard software.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, Title 24, NFPA, COMcheck, local codes, and client-specific standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design staff.
- Assist in reviewing construction documents including calculations, submittals, and RFIs.

Minimum Job Qualifications and skills:

- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
- 2.5+ years of experience in electrical design on U.S. based building projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to work well under pressure, juggle multiple projects concurrently, and motivate multi-discipline project teams in meeting client needs in a timely manner and within budget objectives while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilities.
- Strong organizational skills, creativity, enthusiasm, and eagerness to learn.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD and electrical design tools such as AGi32, Visual, Energy Pro, COMcheck.
