About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Editor with strong editorial, research, PR, and media intelligence skills. The role will involve editing and proofreading content, conducting research, monitoring media, and developing accurate communication inputs.

Key Responsibilities

Edit, proofread, rewrite, and refine articles, reports, presentations, PR material, social media content, and communication documents.

Conduct regular PR and media research to track relevant news, government announcements, policy developments, public narratives, media coverage, and emerging issues.

Research government schemes, policies, programmes, organisations, campaigns, and public figures for communication projects.

Cross-check facts, figures, names, designations, dates, quotations, statistics, and policy details using credible sources.

Prepare research notes, media briefs, backgrounders, issue briefs, fact sheets, talking points, and communication inputs.

Support the preparation and editing of press releases, PR content,



campaign material, and media communication.

Maintain high standards of accuracy, grammar, consistency, and editorial quality.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in English, Literature, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

3–5 years of relevant skilled experience. A formal Journalism degree or professional journalism experience will be preferred. Strong research, fact-checking, source evaluation, current affairs, and media awareness skills are essential.

Experience in PR, corporate communications, government communications, media research, content research, editorial work, or communications agencies will be preferred.
