Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Economics Teacher with strong knowledge of the CISCE/ISC curriculum to teach Classes IXXII. The candidate should have excellent subject knowledge, effective classroom-management skills, and proven experience in preparing students for ISC Board examinations.

Educational Qualification

- Master's Degree in Economics from a recognised university.
- B.Ed. from a recognised institution is mandatory/preferred as per applicable school requirements.
- Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience as an Economics Teacher.
- Prior experience in a CISCE/ISC-affiliated school is mandatory/preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach Economics for Classes IX to XII as per the CISCE/ISC curriculum.
- Plan and deliver structured, engaging, and application-based lessons.
- Prepare students comprehensively for CISCE Board examinations.
- Develop lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, projects, question papers, and revision materials.
- Teach and assess Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Indian Economic Development, Statistics and related topics as prescribed by the ISC syllabus.
- Use current economic affairs, case studies, graphs, data analysis, and real-life examples to enhance conceptual understanding.
- Conduct regular assessments, mock examinations, remedial classes, and revision sessions.




- Analyse student performance and implement appropriate academic interventions.
- Maintain accurate academic, assessment, and attendance records.
- Provide individual guidance and mentoring to students.
- Participate in PTMs, academic meetings, workshops, examinations, school events, and departmental activities.
- Collaborate with the Academic Coordinator and other faculty members for curriculum planning and academic improvement.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Stay updated with CISCE/ISC curriculum changes, examination patterns, and assessment guidelines.
- Undertake any other academic responsibilities assigned by the school management.
