Podar ORT International School requires EYP Teacher for it's Worli Unit, in Mumbai. /n /n Early Years Programme (EYP) Teacher – IB School /n (Job Profile & Pre-requisites in Brief) /n Job Profile: /n An EYP Teacher in an IB School is responsible for nurturing young learners through inquiry-based, play-based, and experiential learning aligned with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) philosophy. /n Key Responsibilities: /n /n

- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences

/n

- Foster holistic development – social, emotional, physical, language, and cognitive

/n

- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment

/n

- Encourage inquiry, creativity, and independent thinking among children

/n

- Observe, assess, and document student progress regularly

/n

- Maintain effective communication with parents regarding child development

/n

- Integrate storytelling, music, art, movement, and hands-on activities into learning

/n

- Collaborate with co-teachers and coordinators for curriculum planning

/n

- Ensure classroom management, student well-being,



and safety standards

- Participate in school events, training, and IB professional development programmes

/n /n Pre-requisites / Eligibility: /n /n

- Bachelor’s Degree with ECCEd / Montessori / Nursery Teacher Training / B.Ed. (preferred)

/n

- Prior experience in Pre-Primary / Early Years education preferred

/n

- Understanding of IB PYP philosophy and inquiry-based learning approach

/n

- Solid communication and interpersonal skills

/n

- Passion for working with young children and creating joyful learning experiences

/n

- Creativity, patience, empathy, and classroom management skills

/n

- Proficiency in English communication and basic technology usage

/n

- IB training/workshop certification will be an added advantage

/n /n We are looking for candidate with flexibility to work across Early Years Section, as per school requirements /n Time: Full Time, 7.30 to 3.30 (02 days till 4.30pm), Mon to Sat
