Role - Application Support Engineer / SME

Domain Context – Nostro Reconciliation

Matches the bank’s own ledger of foreign-currency accounts held with correspondent banks against the correspondent’s statements, ensuring every cross-border payment and receipt settles accurately and breaks are investigated promptly.

Cloud-native, no-code reconciliation platform for financial markets that ingests structured and unstructured data, runs AI-powered matching, and automates exception management.

Key Skills & Experience

- Application support experience in core banking / fintech, with focus on iPaaS, SaaS and Cloud solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Duco (preferred); alternatively, Xceptor, IntelliMatch, or TLM.
- Solid knowledge of reconciliation frameworks, regulatory functions, Nostro accounts, and application integration workflows.
- Infrastructure management across distributed and hybrid architectures (cloud-native + on-premises integration modules).
- Proficiency in monitoring and job scheduling tools; strong understanding of observability tools and techniques.
- Understanding of banking operations, finance and risk processes; familiarity with ITSM frameworks and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with business, Operations, and technology stakeholders to refine reference data requirements and validation rules and ensure technical readiness for Go-live.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving,



and communication skills with a hands-on focus on support stability and resiliency.

Experience 3–10 Years

Support Scope – Other Than L2 Production Support

Minor Configuration Changes

- Matching-rule updates handled via L3 support.
- Changes made and validated in UAT first, followed by user testing / sign-off.
- Verified configuration export followed by import into Production.

Change Requests / Enhancements
- Business Operations raise the request to L3 support.
- Taken up with the vendor as a standard enhancement / change-request workflow.
- Governed with UAT sign-off and controlled Production release.

Mandatory Skills
- Domain: Reconciliation, Nostro Reconciliation

- Tool Experience: Duco (preferred) / Xceptor / IntelliMatch / TLM – configure rules

- Knowledge: Banking operations, finance and risk processes; familiarity with ITSM frameworks

- Others: Production/Application Support, Configuration & Change Management, Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills, Stakeholder Management

- Good to Have: Infrastructure, Cloud and Monitoring

Additional Details
- Location: Work from the MGS Chennai office.

- Working Hours: Flexible for both Singapore (start at 6:30 AM) and Indian time zone.

- Engagement Model:

Staff Augmentation

- Assessment: First-level assessment by me/Arun (communication, ITSM, reconciliation and Nostro understanding). Final assessment will be done by Mizuho Singapore team.

- Notice Period:
