Job Summary

This hybrid role is for a senior software engineer in focusing on secure and scalable enterprise applications using Net Net Framework C sharp and SQL Server within the asset and wealth management domain. The role involves designing robust solutions mentoring peers collaborating with cross functional teams and ensuring high quality delivery.

Responsibilities

- Design and develop resilient backend services and APIs using Net and Net Framework to support complex asset and wealth management workflows while ensuring maintainability and scalability across large enterprise environments

- Implement efficient data access layers using SQL Server and T SQL to handle portfolio positions transactions client profiles and reporting datasets with a strong focus on data integrity and accuracy

- Optimize database queries indexes and stored procedures to achieve low latency response times for trading analytics risk dashboards and portfolio monitoring applications

- Translate business requirements from investment operations portfolio managers and risk teams into technical specifications that align with B2 senior engineer expectations and deliver measurable outcomes

- Collaborate with product owners business analysts testers and operations specialists in a hybrid work model to refine user stories estimate effort and plan iterative releases that meet regulatory and client commitments

- Develop reusable libraries shared components and coding patterns in C sharp to promote consistency security and reliability across multiple applications in the asset and wealth management platform





- Conduct comprehensive unit testing integration testing and regression testing using industry standard tools to ensure that releases meet quality benchmarks and reduce production incidents in critical financial systems

- Review peer code and provide constructive suggestions that improve performance readability and adherence to secure coding guidelines especially for modules handling client data orders and valuations

- Integrate internal and third party services such as market data providers risk engines and reporting tools by building robust interfaces that ensure data consistency and fault tolerance

- Monitor application health logs and performance metrics proactively during day shift to identify bottlenecks and recommend enhancements that improve throughput and user experience for investment professionals

- Document technical designs data models interface contracts and operational runbooks in a clear and structured manner so that future enhancements support continuous improvement and operational resilience

- Partner with cyber security and compliance teams to ensure that solutions meet regulatory expectations for asset and wealth management including access control data protection auditability and change traceability

- Mentor less experienced engineers through code pairing design discussions and knowledge sharing sessions so that the broader team can adopt best practices in Net C sharp and SQL for financial applications





Qualifications

- Showcase experience of seven to ten years in professional software engineering with significant exposure to large scale enterprise projects ideally in asset and wealth management or closely related financial services

- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Net Net Framework and C sharp including object oriented design asynchronous programming error handling patterns and experience with modern development tooling

- Exhibit robust command of SQL Server including schema design indexing query optimization and creation of complex stored procedures and functions tailored for financial data models

- Display practical understanding of asset and wealth management concepts such as portfolios accounts positions orders valuations benchmarks and performance calculations and how these map to system design

- Apply solid knowledge of software engineering practices including version control continuous integration automated testing and secure coding to maintain robustness in mission critical applications

- Communicate effectively with non technical stakeholders by explaining technical trade offs in accessible language so that decisions on features timelines and risks are transparent and well informed

- Adapt to a hybrid work model by collaborating seamlessly through digital tools attending on site sessions when required and maintaining high productivity during designated day shift hours
