Role Description The Director of Photography (DoP) will lead the visual execution of PrepMed’s video content, ensuring high-quality, engaging educational videos for NEET aspirants. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Baharampur, responsible for planning and supervising all aspects of the visual style, including camera setups, shot composition, and lighting design during shoots.

Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with the creative and academic teams to translate scripts into clear visual narratives, setting up and operating cameras, directing camera crews, and managing video production workflows. The DoP will oversee lighting arrangements,



maintain consistency in visual standards, and ensure that all footage meets technical and aesthetic requirements. The role also includes coordinating equipment needs, troubleshooting on set, and contributing to continuous improvement of production processes.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in camera operation and familiarity with various types of cameras and related equipment.
- Proficiency in lighting design and setup for studio and on-location educational video shoots.
- Script Writing
- Experience in video production, including planning, shooting, and coordinating production schedules.
- Advanced understanding of cinematography principles, including framing, composition, movement, and visual storytelling.
- Prior experience as a Director of Photography, Camera Operator, or similar role in film, television, or digital content production.
- Ability to collaborate closely with directors, editors, and subject matter experts to deliver clear, student-friendly visuals.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to lead small production teams on-site.
- Working knowledge of post-production workflows and coordination with video editors is an advantage.
- Formal training in film, media, cinematography, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful work workplace for all team members.
