Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Diploma in Mechanical Engineer based in Barjora. The role involves assisting in mechanical design, fabrication planning, and field execution for industrial steel structures and mechanical installations. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting engineering drawings, supporting CAD-based detailing, coordinating with senior engineers and site supervisors, monitoring work progress, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.





The Diploma Mechanical

Engineer will also support installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities for industrial equipment and piping, prepare basic technical documentation, and help resolve on-site mechanical issues in coordination with the project team.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering principles and applied industrial practices
- Skills in Machine Design and understanding of structural and equipment design for heavy industries
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for drafting and detailing mechanical components and structures
- Basic Project Management skills, including planning, coordination, and progress tracking for site activities
- Ability to contribute to Research and Development (R&D;) efforts, process improvement, and technical problem-solving
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution
- Knowledge of fabrication, erection, and installation practices in industrial and plant environments
- Awareness of workplace safety standards and ability to follow safety procedures in office
- Effective communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with engineers, supervisors, and site workers
