Build Enterprise Event Management & Observability Solutions

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in ServiceNow ITOM Event Management and Confluent Kafka to support enterprise-scale monitoring and event-driven solutions.

You will design, implement and support scalable integrations that enable real-time event ingestion, correlation and monitoring across business-critical IT services.

This is a hands-on engineering role for someone comfortable working across ServiceNow ITOM, Kafka, APIs, monitoring platforms and enterprise service management within an Agile/DevOps environment.

What You'll Do

- Design, implement and maintain ServiceNow ITOM Event Management solutions.
- Configure and manage Confluent Kafka clusters, topics, partitions, consumer groups and Kafka Connect.
- Build integrations using REST APIs, Webhooks, ServiceNow IntegrationHub and Python/Java .
- Implement event-driven architectures supporting real-time event ingestion and processing.
- Configure event correlation, alert lifecycle management and event optimization .
- Integrate ServiceNow with monitoring platforms such as Dynatrace, SolarWinds, Azure Monitor, Aternity and ThousandEyes .
- Work with CMDB, Service Mapping and CSDM to improve business service visibility.




- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, platform and vendor teams.
- Apply Agile and DevOps practices to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.

What We're Looking For ✔ 4–7 years of relevant professional experience.

✔ Hands-on ServiceNow ITOM , specifically Event Management .

✔ Strong Confluent Kafka experience, including clusters, topics, partitions, consumer groups and Kafka Connect.

✔ Experience with event-driven architectures and real-time data streaming .

✔ Hands-on integration experience using REST APIs, Webhooks and ServiceNow IntegrationHub .

✔ Proficiency in Python or Java .

✔ Robust knowledge of CMDB, Service Mapping and CSDM .

✔ Experience with event ingestion, event correlation and alert lifecycle management.

✔ Experience integrating monitoring platforms such as Dynatrace, SolarWinds, Azure Monitor, Aternity or ThousandEyes .

✔ Experience working within Agile and DevOps environments .

✔ Strong problem-solving and stakeholder collaboration skills.
