Role Description The Design For Test Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru South. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing test strategies and methodologies to ensure the reliability and performance of electronic systems and products.

Day-to-day tasks include developing test plans and test architectures, defining test requirements, and validating test coverage for current designs. The engineer will work with cross-functional teams to integrate design-for-test (DFT) features,



specify and configure test equipment, and troubleshoot test issues during development and production. The role also involves analyzing test data, improving test processes, maintaining documentation, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and test efficiency.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Test Engineering and Testing, including developing and executing test plans and procedures.
- Candidates should possess skills in Test Design and Design For Test methodologies, focusing on testability, coverage, and optimization.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles relevant to electronic circuits, systems, and hardware testing.
- Candidates should possess experience with Test Equipment, including selection, configuration, automation, and maintenance of test setups.
- Beneficial qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field, familiarity with semiconductor or hardware product lifecycles, and experience with automated test frameworks.
- Additional desirable skills include strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, proficiency with data analysis tools, attention to detail, and effective communication and collaboration in cross-functional teams.
