Designation Process Design Engineer

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
- Masters degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Water & Wastewater Engineering (preferred)
- Formal training or certification in water and wastewater treatment technologies (preferred)
- Minimum 10 years experience in similar field with 3 years of independently handling the design calculations.

Key Job Responsibilities

1. Lead and undertake process design calculation for WTP, STP, and ETP systems.
2. Own the estimation activities during the pre-bid tendering stage for industrial ETP, WTP, and STP projects.
3. Independently verify and validate rates quoted by clients through in-house and external vendors.
4. Undertake complete design development and hydraulic/process calculations during the pre-bid tendering

stage for industrial ETP, STP, and WTP systems.
1. Prepare and deliver techno-commercial project proposals to support new business development.
2. Ensure end-to-end coordination across all stakeholders to meet project requirements, timelines, and

schedules, working closely with cross-disciplinary teams.
1. Review, validate, and approve design and calculations for ongoing projects to ensure technical compliance

and optimisation.
1. Conduct technical review meetings with project teams to identify, address, and resolve design and





engineering issues.
1. Drive standardisation of designs, processes, and project deliverables to improve efficiency and consistency.
2. Ensure alignment of designs with target cost objectives, meeting defined design-to-cost benchmarks.
3. Lead post-project design evaluations, identifying successful and unsuccessful elements and capturing lessons

learned.
1. Proactively identify and track relevant tenders, including regular monitoring of industry portals and client

sources, and support bid/no-bid evaluations in coordination with business development and management teams. Key Skills & Competencies

- Solid understanding of Water/ Waste Water Treatment process and market norms.
- Proven ability to independently submit techno commercial viability report.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and procurement teams.
- Results-driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently under tight deadlines.
- Good command on English is necessary.
- Proven ability to read all technical drawing and guide the team of draftsman.
