Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Deputy Manager – US Accounting to oversee accounting operations, manage client requirements, and lead the accounting team. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, team management skills, and experience handling US accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee end-to-end bookkeeping and year-end finalization for US clients.
- Manage and review Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), payroll, and reconciliations.
- Review monthly MIS, financial statements, and management reports.
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in accounting processes.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the accounting team to achieve business targets.
- Conduct regular reviews of team performance and work quality.
- Handle client meetings and maintain strong client relationships.
- Resolve accounting issues and provide appropriate solutions.
- Coordinate with internal teams and clients for smooth process execution.
- Support audits,



month-end/year-end closing, and financial reporting.
- Identify process gaps and implement improvements to increase efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to US accounting practices and applicable standards.

Desired Profile
- 5+ years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping, preferably with US Accounting exposure.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Good understanding of AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing.
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and client-handling abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple teams/processes and meet deadlines.
