Job Summary: A Debt Recovery Agent is responsible for contacting customers who have overdue accounts and negotiating repayment arrangements. The role involves maintaining professional communication, ensuring compliance with debt collection regulations, and helping reduce outstanding debts while preserving customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities Contact customers via phone, email, letters, or SMS regarding overdue payments. Negotiate payment plans and settlement arrangements. Monitor and follow up on delinquent accounts. Investigate and resolve disputes related to outstanding balances.
Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and customer interactions. Assess customers' financial situations and recommend appropriate repayment options. Escalate unresolved accounts for legal action when necessary.
