About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer / Consultant to join our expanding Data & Analytics practice. This role is based in Bengaluru, Pune, or Hyderabad and offers an exciting opportunity to work on enterprise-scale data engineering projects.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines and solutions across modern cloud platforms. You will collaborate closely with architects, data scientists, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to build robust, scalable, and efficient data architectures.

The role requires expertise in technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Engineering, Databricks, PySpark, Apache Spark, Python, SQL, and various cloud data platforms. Your contributions will be critical in developing innovative data solutions that enable data-driven decision-making and support digital transformation initiatives for our clients.

Qualifications Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.



A minimum of four years of professional experience in Data Engineering or similar roles is essential.

Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Fabric Data Engineer Associate, Azure Data Engineer Associate, or Databricks Certified Data Engineer are highly preferred.

Experience working with enterprise data systems, cloud platforms, and modern data architectures will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines to support enterprise data platforms, ensuring data quality, security, and governance.
- Create data engineering solutions utilizing Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, PySpark, Spark SQL, and Python to handle structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
- Build and optimize data pipelines for various data types, integrating data from sources such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, APIs, cloud storage, ERP systems, and SaaS applications.
- Implement contemporary data architecture principles, including Medallion Architecture and Lakehouse/Data Platform architectures, to facilitate efficient data processing and storage.
- Develop and optimize Databricks notebooks, Spark jobs, Delta Lake pipelines, and Databricks workflows to ensure high performance and cost efficiency.
- Design and implement data models, data warehouses, data lakes, and Lakehouse solutions aligned with business requirements.
- Collaborate with solution architects, business analysts,



and data scientists to translate requirements into technical solutions and ensure seamless integration.
- Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, and knowledge-sharing sessions to promote best practices and continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub, and other tools to streamline deployment and version control processes.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement performance improvements to ensure system stability and reliability.
- Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and ongoing learning within the team.
