ITA137 replaces Daikin Europe's legacy SAP BW reporting with an Azure-native data platform. You design and build the curated dataset layer on Daikin's existing Azure Databricks Lakehouse: ingesting data from SAP S/4HANA and SAP IBP, modelling it through a bronze / silver / gold medallion architecture (conformed dimensions, fact tables, and a weekly snapshot pattern for planning data), all within Daikin's DADG governance and naming standards. You will be in close alignment with the Supply Center analytics team builds Power BI reports on top of your gold layer for the S&OP; planning cycle (demand, inventory, requirement, supply, gap).

Also a fit gap analysis will need to be made during the project between the old reporting system and the new.

Databricks / Lakehouse and medallion architecture (bronze/silver/gold) - Must

Dimensional data modelling (facts, conformed dimensions, snapshotting / SCD) - Must

Knowledge in supply chain processes (Ukeharai, demand, inventory, requirements) - Nice to have

SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP IBP data — Robust plus

Power BI (semantic models / datasets) — At least conceptual

Data governance (catalog, naming conventions) — Nice to have

Location Strategy

Client prefers onsite with presence at Daikin offices





Alternative we can propose is offshore with onshore travel during key periods (like fit-gap assessment, key build milestones, )
