Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Customs Clearance Executive to handle import and export customs clearance activities at Ahmedabad. The candidate must have hands-on experience in customs documentation, coordination with Customs/CHA teams, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders.

G-Card / H-Card is mandatory for this position.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day Import and Export Customs Clearance activities.
- Prepare, verify, and process customs clearance documentation.
- Coordinate with Customs authorities, CHA/Customs Broker, shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and clients.
- Handle Bill of Entry (BOE), Shipping Bill, supporting documents, examination, assessment, OOC/LEO, and related customs procedures.
- Coordinate for customs examination, queries, document submission, and clearance.
- Monitor shipment status and ensure timely customs clearance.
- Verify commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates, licenses, and other supporting documents.
- Follow up on duty payments, assessment, examination, and cargo release.
- Coordinate with the warehouse/CFS/ICD/port for cargo movement and delivery.
- Maintain proper records of customs documents and shipment files.




- Resolve documentation discrepancies and customs-related queries.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Customs, DGFT, GST, and other statutory requirements.
- Prepare regular shipment/clearance status reports and MIS.
- Coordinate with internal teams and customers to ensure smooth end-to-end clearance.

Mandatory Requirement
- Valid G-Card or H-Card is mandatory.
- 3–4 years of relevant experience in Customs Clearance / CHA / Freight Forwarding / EXIM operations.
- Practical knowledge of import/export customs procedures.
- Good understanding of customs documentation and online customs clearance processes.

Education
- Graduate in any discipline preferred.
- Diploma/Certificate in Logistics, EXIM, Customs, or International Trade will be an advantage.

Required Skills
- Robust knowledge of Customs Clearance procedures.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- MS Office/Excel proficiency.
- Good documentation and follow-up skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile Candidates currently working with Customs Brokers (CHA), Freight Forwarders, Logistics Companies, CFS/ICD, or Import-Export companies with valid G-Card/H-Card and 3–4 years of hands-on experience will be preferred.
